I am very thankful for my three Spanish I class girls: Emily, Dacota, and Hailey! These three warriors stayed with me to finish the school year strong.
My class learned how to conjugate -ar, -er, and -ir Spanish verbs; they learned to differentiate the verbs, "to be," "ser" and "estar" - these verbs are extremely difficult to manage, but my girls are so very smart and each day are getting better and better in Spanish.
We are currently reading the novel, Berto y sus Buenas Ideas. It makes me want to weep out of pure delight when I hear them interpreting the text from Spanish to English. We have come a long way and I enjoyed having beyond responsible students taking my class. Thank you girls!
