Join the FFA Chapter for the Annual Chapter Speaking Night on October 10th. We will have dinner for contestants at 5:00 PM and begin the contest at 5:30 PM. Come out and support our members!

This is a great community event on Halloween. Your very own Prairie FBLA and Student Council will be hosting the haunted house. Be there to be scared!
On Thursday, Business/FBLA students kicked off our Drive Smart campaign with a presentation from Marjorie Hanson, Drive Smart Weld County Public Relations/Community Outreach Specialist. The students have some great ideas to bring to our school and community this year to promote safe driving.
This past week physical science students had fun trying to match different motion graphs using motion detectors.
The high school volleyball team spoiled the teachers today with a spa day!! We were soooooo grateful!! ❤️😊
Science students performing water quality tests on the S Platte River as part of the River Watch program. The data is used by Colorado Parks and Wildlife to manage rivers. To quote their mission “Real people doing real science for a real purpose.”

We learned all about maps and cardinal directions on a Nearpod lesson before making our own compass rose.
Projects from our first couple of weeks of 3rd and 4th Grade STEM class! We've built Pencil Towers, designed Crayon Boxes and have started to create Greek Chariots!

Flu Shots coming to Prairie on October 10th from 7:30-8:30.
Alphabet Exchange!!!! Our class made 26 letter E's to send to 25 other kindergarten classes all over the United States and Canada!! We will receive all the other letters in the mail from the alphabet exchange classes. We had so much fun creating an egg and putting them in envelopes!!! Check back often to what other letters we have received.
Ag I students love learning the FFA Creed! We are on paragraph 4. Today they played "Creed Ball" where each student must say at least 3 words and they pass the ball around the group to finish the paragraph.
