District CDEs were a success! Last week we traveled to NJC and the Prairie students represented New Raymer FFA very well! We had the following teams compete: FBM, Land Judging, Livestock Judging, Horse Judging, Floriculture, Vet Science, Employment Skills, Ag. Sales, Ag. Mechanics. All students used this contest as excellent practice for State CDEs at the end of this month. Some of the top accomplishments were: Ag. Mechanics- 3rd Overall: Parker Jaeger Livestock Judging -2nd Overall: Beau Carlson and 11th Overall: Ben Walker Vet Science: 11th Overall: Addison Hoozee Good luck FFA students at State CDEs!

Thirty-three members spent the past few days representing Prairie FBLA at the State Leadership Conference. They attended leadership workshops, networked with other members from around the state, and competed in a variety of events. They worked hard and played hard, and I'm so proud of them for representing the Prairie community with pride. 2nd and 4th grade braved the wind to have an egg drop yesterday. We had some very creative designs and only 4 of the 12 eggs broke after drops of 3, 6, 10, and 13 feet!!!
