District CDEs were a success! Last week we traveled to NJC and the Prairie students represented New Raymer FFA very well!
We had the following teams compete: FBM, Land Judging, Livestock Judging, Horse Judging, Floriculture, Vet Science, Employment Skills, Ag. Sales, Ag. Mechanics. All students used this contest as excellent practice for State CDEs at the end of this month.
Some of the top accomplishments were:
Ag. Mechanics- 3rd Overall: Parker Jaeger
Livestock Judging -2nd Overall: Beau Carlson and 11th Overall: Ben Walker
Vet Science: 11th Overall: Addison Hoozee
Good luck FFA students at State CDEs!

Thirty-three members spent the past few days representing Prairie FBLA at the State Leadership Conference. They attended leadership workshops, networked with other members from around the state, and competed in a variety of events. They worked hard and played hard, and I'm so proud of them for representing the Prairie community with pride.
Please congratulate the following members who were recognized for placing in the Top 10 in their events:
Tanna Bailey - 8th place - Intro to Parliamentary Procedure
Beau Carlson - 8th place - Spreadsheet Applications
Hadlie Robinette - 10th place - Intro to Financial Math
Roxy Unruh - 7th place - Intro to Business Procedures
I'm pleased to announce that 3 members placed in the top 4 of their events and are qualified to represent Prairie FBLA at the National Leadership Conference in Atlanta this summer:
Aubrey Shipman - 4th place - Intro to Parliamentary Procedure
Hailey Heppner - 3rd place - Word Processing
Addison Hoozee - STATE CHAMPION - Intro to Public Speaking
Way to go Mustangs!

Due to slick road conditions Prairie school will have a delayed start. School will start at 10:00 AM. Buses will be running. Drive safe.

2nd and 4th grade braved the wind to have an egg drop yesterday. We had some very creative designs and only 4 of the 12 eggs broke after drops of 3, 6, 10, and 13 feet!!!

5th Graders got to watch the Artemis II Astronaut crew picked live today! What a great ending to our space unit!
