The second graders are learning about erosion and the works of water in science. First, we explored the origin and destination of rivers and then discovered why there is sand on ocean beaches. Next up, we will learn how canyons form.
Our lovely visitor, Mrs. Lawson, gave the fifth graders a lesson about the importance of writing neat and legible. Studies show writing improves memory and students retain learning better through handwriting instead of typing. Being able to decipher both cursive and print is an important part of language literacy. Thank you Mrs. Lawson for visiting our classroom.
