This week, 36 members of the Prairie FBLA traveled to the Gaylord Rockies Resort for the FBLA State Leadership Conference. Members spent 2 days attended leadership workshops, competed in team and individual and events, and networked with members from around the state. We even managed to squeeze in an evening of fun at Boondocks! Several members were recognized at the Grand Awards ceremony yesterday: - Addison Hoozee: State Champion - Introduction to Public Speaking - Tanna Bailey: State Champion - Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure - Hailey Heppner: State Runner Up - Word Processing - Simon Marler: State Runner Up - Journalism - Elizabeth Schmeeckle: 9th place - Mobile App Development - Marcus Mayol: 7th place - Word Processing - William Nicklas: 8th place - Public Policy & Advocacy - Silas Price: 9th place - Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure Addi, Tanna, Hailey, and Simon are automatically qualified to represent Colorado at the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL this summer!
