This week, 36 members of the Prairie FBLA traveled to the Gaylord Rockies Resort for the FBLA State Leadership Conference. Members spent 2 days attended leadership workshops, competed in team and individual and events, and networked with members from around the state. We even managed to squeeze in an evening of fun at Boondocks! Several members were recognized at the Grand Awards ceremony yesterday:
- Addison Hoozee: State Champion - Introduction to Public Speaking
- Tanna Bailey: State Champion - Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure
- Hailey Heppner: State Runner Up - Word Processing
- Simon Marler: State Runner Up - Journalism
- Elizabeth Schmeeckle: 9th place - Mobile App Development
- Marcus Mayol: 7th place - Word Processing
- William Nicklas: 8th place - Public Policy & Advocacy
- Silas Price: 9th place - Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure
Addi, Tanna, Hailey, and Simon are automatically qualified to represent Colorado at the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL this summer! Congratulations to all!
A special congratulations to Addison Hoozee as she was elected to serve as the State Officer from District 4 for the 2024-25 FBLA year. Congratulations and best of luck, Addi!

Hello Parents! There is an amazing Summer Camp in Brush this June for students in grades Kindergarten through 6th Grade. There is a fee to attend the 5 day camp, but scholarships are available, as well as opportunities for parents to volunteer. This is such a great opportunity for our students! The varsity knowledge bowl team dedicated two long days of their spring break competing at the Colorado State KB Tournament and came home with an impressive 3rd place! Congratulations to these amazing students who represented Prairie with class and dignity!
