Britty Pratt and Karrie Walker from the Logan County Cattlewomen came into our 3rd grade classroom to finish up our flat rancher project. They brought in Steve the Steer to show the students all the byproducts we get from beef. Thank you ladies for a fun afternoon of learning about the ag industry.
Maverick reached the 3rd grade AR reading goal of reading over 250,000 words! 📚📖😊

Congratulations to the knowledge bowl teams for their success at the North Central Knowledge Bowl that was held at Prairie last Friday. The high school team of Emily Andrews, Kendra Sutter, Elizabeth Schmeeckle, Simon Marler, Armelia Guevara, and Cayde Marler won 1st place and will travel to Greeley to compete in the Region 7 meet on Saturday. The jr high team of Owen Kilmer, Derek Dollerschell, Chase Pollart, Phoenix Guevara, Hunter Johnson, and Hunter Knight won 1st place, and the jr.high team of Anabel Martinez, Alice Marler, Amelia Stroud, Dominic Kramer, and Harlen Rucker placed 3rd. Many thanks to all of the volunteers who helped make this day a success at Prairie!!!
